What rear springs will work the best to add about 1" to the rear of a 3rd generation 4runner?

The right question for this can be complicated, first of all what are you looking to do with your 4-runner? Towing? Off-roading? Or just overall everday driving?

Mostly everyday driving, but I'd like to be able to load it up for camping and a little bit of offroading too.

Downey makes a 1.5 inch lift progressive spring for the rear, this may be more than you are looking for. I would recommend using a progressive spring because they get stiffer the more load you put on them. I do think that these 1.5" springs would be good since the 4runners tend to sag in the rear anyway. You can check them out on downeyoff-road.com
